Ratner and Sugarmon Scholarship (Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law)
The scholarship selection committee shall be composed of the Scholarship Committee within the Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law.
The recipient shall be selected on the basis of an interview and/or paper submitted by the applicant to the Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law, with the decision based on the likelihood that she or he will use her or his profession as a lawyer to seek to safeguard the rights of those people who, because of their race, sex, age, or nationality, need help in attaining or maintaining such rights. Preference shall be given to a student who demonstrates financial need. The scholarship selection process shall be coordinated through the University Scholarship Office.
