Joe A. Moore Award (Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law)
1. Funds to be used to purchase a suitable plaque for display in the Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law building announcing the award, the names of the annual winners, plus the purchase of a plaque to be presented to each winner along with a cash gift.
2. If the annual income exceeds the amount of the award, the excess will be available to be used by the Law Dean to support advocacy programs of the Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law.
3. Recipient(s) of this award shall be selected by the law dean who in consultation with the faculty will establish criteria for the selection.
4. Criteria as noted by Law School: Presented to a graduating law student (Always AWARDED 1 sem.
RETROACTIVELY) in recognition of outstanding achievements in one or more of the following activities:
a. Performance in Moot Court and Mock Trial Competitions.
b. Leadership contributions to the Moot Court program.
c. Academic performance in Evidence, Trial Techniques, or other courses which emphasize oral advocacy.
