Dr. Virginia M Norton and Dan Norton Scholarship (College of Arts and Sciences)

To be eligible to apply for any of the Department of Biological Sciences scholarships, students must have successfully completed General Biology I and II. In addition all students must be enrolled full-time with a declared major in the Department of Biological Sciences during the semesters in which they hold any of these scholarships.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Major in Biology, with an expressed interest in a career in Health Science
- Junior or Senior classification

Applicants must provide:
- A completed application with essay
- Two recommendations from faculty in the Department of Biological Sciences or another science department at the University of Memphis or at another college or university, in the case of a transfer
student. One letter may be from an employer for students who have science-related work experience.
- Undergraduate transcript
