G Douglas Mayo and Mildred H Mayo Heritage Room Endowment (General)
Preference shall be given to graduate students whose majors fall under the Department of History of Museum Studies, or University College students who are pursuing a degree which includes either of these concentrations.
Candidates shall demonstrate a special interest in the history of the University of Memphis.
For Graduate Assistantships, recipients shall participate in a learning environment within the University of Memphis Heritage Room for 10-20 hrs/wk as assigned by the Curator of Special Collections. Assignments may include working in the Heritage Room to ensure that it is open on an appropriate schedule.
