Kemmons Wilson Scholars Fund (Wilson School)

Recipients of this scholarship must:
1. Be enrolled as a Full-Time undergraduate student at the University of Memphis
2. Majoring in Hospitality and Resort Management in the Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and Resort Management
3. Priority will be given to Juniors and Seniors
4. Minimum cumulative GPA of no less than a 2.5
5. Provide a financial need statement
6. Apply through Tiger Scholarship Manager
7. Preference will be given to Tennessee residents and first generation college students.

Scholarship recipients must agree:
A required volunteer commitment of no less than five (5) hours of community service per term during the academic year. Students must complete and meet University requirements (waivers, etc.) necessary to engage in such activities.

Students agree to attend the KWFF Scholarship Reception, a breakfast reception normally held during the month of November at the KWFF main office or on the 2nd floor Gallery at the Holiday Inn on the University of Memphis campus, to recognize KWFF scholarship recipients and to allow recipients the opportunity to meet and interact with KWFF administrators and Board members,
– To maintain the high ethical standards which embody the values of the KWFF,
– To share certain personal and academic information with the KWFF for marketing and media purposes (KWFF newsletter, annual reports, etc.) , such information to include the award recipient’s digital photo from the University data base, University status, hometown, work experience, and future career plans.
