Tag Hedges Green Graduate Fellowship in Music (Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music)

1. The recipients of this fellowship shall be enrolled full-time in the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music and pursuing a master’s or doctorate degree in Band Conducting or Music Education.
2. Recipients shall demonstrate a dedication to education through a goal of becoming a teacher of music or a band director at the high school or college level.
3. In order to be considered, applicants must submit a one-page essay outlining their career goals, be in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need as determined after review of the student’s completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form or any future similar form that replaces the FAFSA.
4. Preference will be given to members of the University of Memphis Marching Band, Mighty Sound of the South.
