Tanya and Mark Hart Scholarship (General)

The gift will be used for the following purpose:
1. This scholarship is restricted to full-time.
2. Undergraduate students.
3. From the Memphis metropolitan area (as defined by the U.S. Census Bureaus Memphis-Forrest City, TN-AR-MS Combined Statistical Area)
4. Applicants with distinct backgrounds and experiences will receive special consideration.
5. Selected students must have a high school cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
6. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years for students who maintain a 3.5 GPA.
7. Applicants must submit a short essay describing a time in which they demonstrated leadership or overcame obstacles in their school, personal or family life.
8. Preference will be given to students planning to major, or majoring in a STEM field.
