Ki Brown Memorial Scholarship (Athletic Department)

The recipient of this scholarship shall be enrolled at the University of Memphis and shall be selected in accordance with the following process and criteria:
1. Donor preference is an equipment manager for the University of Memphis’ Football team
2. Donor preference must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
3. Donor preference must be full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate degree program

Scholarship recipient selection criteria are as follows:
1. Financial need
2. Academic Achievement
3. Community/Extracurricular Involvement
4. Renewable up to 2 full academic years (Recipient must re-apply)
5. Recommended annual award of $2,000 ($1,000 in the fall and $1,000 in the Spring)

  3. Please provide proof of your Community/Extracurricular Involvement on that organizations official letterhead. The letterhead must include the organizations name, address and contact information as well as their signature. The documentation must include your name, your University User I.D. number, a brief description of your responsibilities as a volunteer, and the time frame in which you volunteered.
