Non-Resident Honors Award (Helen Hardin Honors Program)
The University of Memphis offers an exceptional experience for all of its undergraduates. For academically ambitious and talented students, we offer something extra ???? the opportunity to participate in the Helen Hardin Honors Program.
The Helen Hardin Honors Program is renowned for extraordinary professors, small classes, and opportunities for research in a variety of disciplines. Our students are award winners, having won the Truman, Goldwater, Fulbright, and Rotary scholarships in recent years, as well as major campus awards. And that is what the Helen Hardin Honors Program is about ???? providing intellectual challenge and opportunities for outstanding students.
The Honors Program offers a limited number of Non-Resident Honors Student Awards (NRHSA) on a competitive basis to incoming students who enroll full-time and who are actively pursuing graduation with an Honors designation at the University of Memphis. The award enables non-resident students to attend the University of Memphis while paying tuition and fees equivalent to those of in-state residents. Students who receive this award are required to take one Honors course every semester until they have earned a baccalaureate degree.
Students will be contacted via email if selected for the NRHSA by the Helen Hardin Honors Program. A contract will be sent outlining all requirements to maintain the scholarship. At that time, please complete, sign and return to the Helen Hardin Honors Program.
