Roy W & Sue T Black Scholarship (Fogelman College of Business and Economics)

1. Each recipient shall be a resident of, and as evidenced by high school transcript(s) have completed high school in, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Fayette, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood Lauderdale or McNairy Counties in Tennessee, with selection preference given to residents to Hardeman County, Tennessee.
2. Recipients must meet the minimum published requirements for admission to the University of Memphis. and maintain the minimum cumulative GPA leading to a degree in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis.
3. Must clearly demonstrate financial need.
4. An award shall be for 80% of the current year’s tuition plus a $500 textbook stipend.
5. Recipient may retain this award until the undergraduate degree is obtained or for a maximum of five (5) consecutive years, whichever comes first, if all requirements continue to be met.
