Phil Cannon Memorial Scholarship (College of Communication and Fine Arts)

Recipient criteria are as follows:
1. An undergraduate student enrolled full time at the University of Memphis,
2. majoring in Journalism
3. and in good standing
4. Minimum GPA of 3.0
5. Preference shall be given to a student interested in sports journalism
6. Students selected shall demonstrate outstanding academic promise and commitment to the community through submittall of resume and portfolio of work such as published articles
7. Recipient will be offered an invitation for professional development opportunities at the St. Jude Classic at the discretion of the Tournament Director
8. Scholarship is non-renewable
