Michael David Greene Memorial Scholarship (College of Communication and Fine Arts)

Recipients shall be enrolled at the University of Memphis and shall be selected in accordance with the following process and criteria:
1. Award amount of $1,000 each year, given to two (2) students at $500 each
2. One recipient each year shall be majoring in Communication with a concentration in Film and Video Production.
3. Student shall be enrolled Full- Time
4. with a min GPA of 2.5
5. Preference shall be given to those traditionally underrepresented in the field of Film and Video Production.
6. Preference shall be given to students who graduated from Hamilton High School in Memphis, TN.
7. Scholarship is renewable
OR
1. One recipient each year shall be majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast News.
2. Student shall be enrolled Full-Time
3. Minimum GPA of 2.5
4. Student shall have completed a Broadcast News internship and received an excellent evaluation.
5. Preference shall be given to those traditionally underrepresented in the field of Broadcast News.
6. Preference shall be given to those that complete their internship at News Channel 3 WREG Memphis.
