MADLS Scholarship (Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law) (Access & Diversity)
Students interested in being considered for Memphis Access and Diversity Scholarships need to complete the online application. You will be asked to complete a 250 word essay on how you contribute to Diversity at the University of Memphis School of Law. Please review the Diversity criteria prior to applying. Current Memphis Access and Diversity recipients must complete this online application as well. Candidates will be notified in June after Spring grades and class rank have been released. No resume or letters of recommendation are required.

- 3. Please describe in 250 words or less how you contribute to the diversity at Memphis Law and why you should receive funding from the Access and Diversity Scholarship. Note: Diversity eligibility for this scholarship includes socioeconomic disadvantage, race, ethnicity, disability, or whether the applicant is a first generation U.S. citizen, whether the applicant is a first generation college graduate, or whether the applicant attended an HBCU, HSI, or Tribal College. Also, recipient must be residents of Tennessee or neighboring border counties in Arkansas (Crittenden) and Mississippi (De Soto, Tate, Tunica, and Marshall counties).
