Dr. M. David Rudd Scholarship for U.S. Military Veterans (Student Academic Success - General)

1. Scholarship awards shall be used to recruit and retain U.S. military veterans enrolled at the University of Memphis who have either exhausted or will exhaust their VA awarded GI Bill entitlement by Spring 2022 or Summer 2022.
2. The recipients of this scholarship must meet the following criteria:
a. Be undergraduate, degree-seeking veterans who have obtained senior status
b. Be in good academic standing
c. Demonstrate financial need after review of the student’s completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form or any future similar form that replaces
the FAFSA.
3. Submit a 250 word essay showing how this scholarship will enable them to complete their degree requirements for graduation.
