Theodora Jackson Cummings Education Scholarship (College of Education)
The recipients of this scholarship shall be enrolled at the University of Memphis and shall be selected in accordance with the following process and criteria:
a. Enrolled in the College of Education
b. Is a teacher candidate completing his or her Clinical Teaching or Residency 2nd semester at the time of receiving the scholarship.
c. Maintains a 3.0 GPA in all professional education courses
d. Commits to completing at least 7 hours of community service
e. Has submitted one or more short essays demonstrating professional preparedness and volunteer experience.
