James Weaver Memorial Scholarship in Interior Design

The James Weaver Memorial Scholarship in interior design was generously established by his longtime friend and co-worker of many years, William R. Eubanks. The gift was announced at the opening ceremony of the William R. Eubanks Distinguished Lecture Series in Interior Design at the University of Memphis in 2007.
James Weaver, former resident of Winona, Mississippi, made William R. Eubanks Interior Design, Inc. in Memphis his professional home for many years. Weaver and Eubanks were both graduates of the University of Memphis. Weaver passed away in 1998 after a highly successful career.
Eubanks chose to honor Weaver by establishing this scholarship because, "Jim Weaver, another graduate of the University of Memphis, worked beside me for 18 years. His dedication to the field of interior design was without limit. Jim was known throughout the community for his integrity, talent, high standards and colorful, eclectic European style. He enriched our lives. "
